Can I design the album and what format should I submit the final design?
Yes, design all your albums with the following helpful tips:
~ Design each spread at double the album width. Example: 10x10 albums should be designed as a 20x10 (20" wide and 10" height)
~ Create and design all spreads at minimum 300dpi
~ Submit all layouts in JPG format and number the spreads in the order you would like them to appear. Example: page01-02.jpg, page03-04.jpg, page05-06.jpg, etc.
~ Set 1/2" guidelines on each side of your document. Stretch background photos from document corner to corner and keep all text, effects, and inserts/overlays within the 1/2" trim space.

What is the resolution I should I use for my images?
A minimum resolution of 300dpi (dots per inch).

How many photos should I submit if I use your design service?
A minimum of 10 to 500 pictures.

If I use your design service, how many revisions am I allowed?
One revision including resizing, swapping and repositioning photos are free of charge. If you would like an entire spread redesigned, there is a $20 charge per spread.

Can we add text to one or more pages in the Lovely Victorian album?
Yes, we can add any text of your choice to any page.

How do I get you my files?
You can also send us your files on CD or DVD to the address listed.

What color space should I use?
Photographic paper cannot hold all of these colors although Adobe RGB is a large color space able to hold most of the colors in the ICC reference LAB color space. We recommend sRGB as the working color space as this color space is the closest to that of photographic paper. If you do decide to use a larger color space such as AdobeRGB, convert your file to sRGB before sending it to our lab for printing.

What color temperature should I set my monitor to?
The color temperature affects the white point of your monitor. The higher the value the cooler the color of white and the lower the value the warmer the color. Daylight is around 5400k. We use 5000k as the standard. This has been an industry standard for offset print shops, museums, commercial photo labs and others for many years.

If I shoot film, can I still use Lovely Victorian for my album needs?
Yes, have your Pro Lab scan your photos at 300dpi to be submitted to us. Please do send your negatives, scanning negatives are outside the range of services we offer.

Do you offer trade sample discount?
A: Yes, 10% off all Lovely Victorian albums. Please keep in mind that all Trade Samples are stamped on the last photo before the back cover with the word 'DEMO' at the bottom.

How long will it take to get my Lovely Victorian album?

The main difference is the inside of the Lovely Victorian albums. The standard wedding photo albums have blank handmade paper pages that allow the user to place photographs of varying sizes and shapes, as well as other keepsakes, on the pages using photo corners or a glue stick.

Are the Lovely Victorian albums expandable?
No, the binding is permanent. We can add up to ten extra pages without changing the Lovely Victorian album's spine dimensions. We charge 15% per extra page.

Are the inside pages removable?
The inside pages in our Lovely Victorian albums are NOT removable. These are sewn/bound books.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we can ship to most international addresses. However, once the product reaches the country we cannot be responsible for its safe arrival because it is then under the service of that government's postal system. International shipping is most often very safe. International postage apply.
